I was trying to use the different textures and colors of the leaves on the trees and rhody to get a feeling of depth, and to use the bird to show scale. I don't think it was successful -- I think I needed to b
e at a different angle. The second picture I was trying to make it look a little mysterious but I think it's just a bit weird; I had a very slow shutter speed. Metadata #1: f6.3; shutter 1/25, WB - daylight; ISO 250, centerweighted. #2: f/25, shutter .6; WB - daylight; ISO 250, centerweighted.
