I love the placement of the elements in these photos. In addition to being in focus (kind of important) I think the second shot shows even better scale. The expanding rings from a water droplet add to the drama and overall effect.
Metadata: Aperture Priority, f/10, ss 1/15 (1st shot) 1/25 (2nd shot), fl 300mm, ISO 100, Exp Comp +.03, WB = Cloudy...and then...Creative setting = Sunset WHOOPS! No wonder I was having trouble with my exposures all morning!!!
